Proposed changes to the Constitution
As part of our governance review, the current Trees in Newcastle committee puts forward a motion to adopt the Model Constitution as drafted by the NSW Department of Fair Trading. This document is attached. Should you wish to discuss this decision further, please get in touch with our Secretary.
Proposed resolutions and General Business
Any General Business or proposed resolutions require notice to the Secretary 7 days prior to the AGM. Please attention any correspondence to our Secretary
Absentee voting is as easy as sending us an email and asking for a postal vote – get in touch with our Secretary. We’ll let you know who is nominating by COB Wednesday 22nd November. Your absentee vote should be received by COB Wednesday 23rd November.
Becoming a member or joining our committee
Please note – to be able to vote for a new committee member, to join the committee or to vote on any proposed resolutions, you must be a financial member of Trees In Newcastle. Nominations to join should be received no later than COB 22 November 2017
