A hardy, compact shrub 1 – 3 meters high, with attractive foliage and colorful papery seed capsules. A haven for wildlife attracting Birds bees and other pollinators.

Relatively frost and drought tolerant once established. Grows best in Dappled shade to full sun, from well drained to clay soils.
